The American Identity Project

The American Identity Project was a section featured in Ka Leo O Hawai‘i. It told stories from a diverse group of people about experiences they’ve had as citizens within American society. The Layouts are minimal in color, drawing attention to the typography and stories being told. The use of Blackletter contrasted with monospace type alludes to the stories’ references to the past while also maintaining focus on the contemporary state of America.
